They are the affiliate of the Edmonton Oilers of the National Hockey League (NHL) and play in the American Hockey League (AHL). The Condors were founded in 1995 as the Bakersfield Fog and joined the ECHL. They moved to the AHL in 2015 and changed their name to the Condors.
