Introduction

In a jaw-dropping and reckless act of desperation, an auto-rickshaw driver in New Delhi took an extraordinary route to evade a traffic jam, driving his three-wheeler onto a crowded foot over bridge at the Hamdard Nagar Red Light Sangam Vihar Traffic Circle. The daring escapade, captured on video and subsequently shared on social media, quickly caught the attention of authorities, leading to the arrest of the 25-year-old driver.

The audacious incident unfolded during a gridlock on the road below the foot-over bridge. Identified as Munna, the auto-rickshaw driver decided to take matters into his own hands. With traffic at a standstill, Munna executed a daring maneuver. He first veered onto a steep turn, skillfully positioning his auto on a footpath. Then, in a feat that defied logic and safety norms, he managed to propel his vehicle up the stairs of the foot-over bridge.

Astonished Spectators

Startlingly, the auto-rickshaw was unoccupied as it made its astonishing ascent onto the bridge. However, the audacious act did not go unnoticed. Another individual was seen on video assisting Munna, helping him navigate the auto-rickshaw up the steep stairs. This daring partner-in-crime later jumped inside the vehicle.

The pedestrians on the foot over bridge were left astounded by the audacity of the act. As the auto-rickshaw rumbled its way along the bridge, pedestrians hastily cleared a path, all the while recording the surreal scene with their mobile phones.

The video of this extraordinary escape quickly went viral on various social media platforms, drawing the ire of authorities. Delhi police wasted no time in tracking down Munna, the auto-rickshaw driver, who resides in Sangam Vihar. In a swift operation, they seized the rogue auto and took Munna into custody. Additionally, the person who had aided Munna in this audacious escapade by jumping inside the auto was also apprehended.

The incident serves as a stark reminder of the chaotic traffic conditions that often plague the streets of New Delhi and the lengths to which some individuals may go to avoid being caught in the daily snarls. However, it also underscores the importance of adhering to traffic rules and the consequences of flouting them.

Munna now faces legal repercussions for his perilous stunt, and Delhi authorities hope that this incident will serve as a cautionary tale for others who may contemplate such risky maneuvers on the city’s congested streets. The arrested individuals are expected to face charges related to traffic violations and endangering public safety.

Conclusion

This audacious escapade, although a spectacle on social media, serves as a stark reminder that public safety should always take precedence over impulsive actions, especially on the bustling streets of a metropolis like New Delhi.
