Lucknow, India – The Indian Railways has proposed a second Vande Bharat Express between the cities of Lucknow and Gorakhpur, which is expected to boost connectivity and promote tourism in the region.

The Vande Bharat Express, also known as Train 18, is a high-speed train that runs between Delhi and Varanasi. The train has state-of-the-art amenities, including WiFi, GPS-based passenger information system, and bio-vacuum toilets. It is one of the fastest trains in India and covers a distance of 780 km in just eight hours.

The proposal for a second Vande Bharat Express between Lucknow and Gorakhpur has been under consideration for a while now. The new train is expected to reduce travel time between the two cities, which are about 270 km apart in just about 4 hours and 45 minutes, and provide a comfortable and fast mode of transportation for commuters. there is however no information on the stoppages of the train yet. if succeeded then the train route may be extended to Delhi.

The proposed train is likely to have a similar set of amenities and features as the existing Vande Bharat Express, including air-conditioned coaches, comfortable seats, and modern interiors. The train is also expected to have improved safety and security measures, such as CCTV cameras and fire suppression systems.

The new Vande Bharat Express is also expected to promote tourism in the region, which is known for its rich cultural and historical heritage. Gorakhpur, in particular, is home to several important religious sites, including the Gorakhnath Temple and the Kushinagar Buddha Temple, which attract a large number of visitors every year.

The proposed train is also expected to benefit the economy of the region by providing faster and more reliable transportation for goods and services.

The exact timeline for the launch of the second Vande Bharat Express between Lucknow and Gorakhpur is yet to be finalized. However, the Indian Railways has stated that it is committed to improving connectivity and providing world-class transportation facilities for the people of India.

Overall, the proposed second Vandhe Bharat Express is expected to be a game-changer for the region, providing fast, comfortable, and reliable transportation while promoting tourism and boosting the local economy.
