The University of Delhi has recently released the much-awaited admission schedule for BTech programmes for the academic year 2023-2024. Aspiring students who wish to secure a seat in one of the prestigious BTech courses offered by the university can begin the registration process immediately. The registration window will be open until July 26, 2023, giving candidates ample time to apply for their desired programmes.

During this admission cycle, the university has implemented a straightforward application correction process, allowing applicants to make any necessary changes or updates to their submitted applications. The application correction window will be accessible from July 26 to July 28, 2023. It is crucial for candidates to ensure that their application forms are error-free and contain accurate information.

As per the admission guidelines, candidates are required to indicate their preferences for BTech programmes during the application process. These preferences will be auto-locked by July 28, 2023. Hence, applicants are advised to carefully choose their desired courses in the order of priority before the deadline.

The first seat allocation list is scheduled to be published on August 2, 2023. Successful candidates from the Unreserved category, OBC-NCL, and EWS will be required to report to the Faculty of Technology (FoT) for the physical verification of their documents between August 3 and August 5, 2023. Similarly, candidates from the SC and ST categories will have their document verification process conducted from August 7 to August 8, 2023.

Candidates falling under special categories, including PwBD (Persons with Benchmark Disabilities), CW (Children of War Widows/Ex-Servicemen), KM (Kashmiri Migrants), orphans, and single girl child candidates, will have their document verification process scheduled for August 9, 2023.

The last date for payment of the admission fee is set for August 10, 2023. Therefore, candidates are encouraged to complete the fee payment process well before the deadline to secure their admission.

For applicants eagerly awaiting the second seat allotment list, the university will release it on August 14, 2023, at 5 pm. Candidates who were not allotted seats in the first list or wish to be considered for other preferences will eagerly anticipate this update.

The University of Delhi’s BTech programmes are highly sought after by students from across the nation, known for their academic excellence and comprehensive curriculum. As the admission process proceeds, candidates are advised to keep a close eye on the official website, du.ac.in, for any further updates or changes in the schedule.

With the admission process in full swing, aspiring engineers are eagerly waiting to embark on their academic journey at the prestigious University of Delhi. As the university continues to uphold its commitment to providing quality education, students can rest assured that their future is in capable hands.

In conclusion, this year’s BTech admission process at the University of Delhi promises to be rigorous yet transparent, giving all deserving candidates an equal opportunity to pursue their dreams and aspirations in the field of engineering.
