As soon as Ravindra Jadeja managed to take a wicket during Australia’s innings in the Indore Test match, he made a special record in his name. Jadeja has become the second Indian cricketer to score 5000 runs and 500 wickets in international cricket. Earlier only Kapil Dev had done this feat in international cricket for India. Kapil Dev had scored 9031 runs with the bat in his international career, while he has been successful in taking 687 wickets. ,

Before the Indore Test match, Jadeja had taken 499 wickets in 346 innings of 297 international matches. At the same time, in batting, Jadeja has so far scored 5523 runs in 240 innings in international cricket. Indore Test match, Jadeja completed 500 wickets in international cricket by dismissing Travis Head during Australia’s innings.
