SBI Clerk Notification 2023: Recruitment Open for 8773 Junior Associates

The State Bank of India (SBI) has released the notification for the recruitment of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) for the year 2023. The notification was released on November 16, 2023, on the official website of SBI at https://sbi.co.in/.

Important Dates

  • Online registration starts: November 17, 2023
  • Last date for online registration: December 7, 2023
  • Preliminary exam: January 29, 30, and February 5, 2024
  • Mains exam: April 9, 10, and 16, 2024

Eligibility

  • Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Candidates should be between 20 and 28 years of age as of November 1, 2023.
  • Candidates should have a good command of English and Hindi.

Selection Process

The selection process for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2023 will consist of two stages:

  • Preliminary Exam: The preliminary exam will be an online objective test consisting of 100 questions from Reasoning, General English, and Quantitative Aptitude. The duration of the exam will be 60 minutes.
  • Mains Exam: The mains exam will be an online objective test consisting of 200 questions from English Language, Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, and General Studies & Financial Awareness. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours.

Vacancies

A total of 8773 vacancies are available for the post of Junior Associates (Customer Support & Sales) in SBI.

Application Process

Candidates can apply online through the official website of SBI at https://sbi.co.in/. The application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs 750/- and for SC/ST/PWD candidates is Rs 150/-.

Important Instructions

  • Candidates are advised to read the notification carefully before applying.
  • Candidates should fill in the online application form correctly and completely.
  • Candidates should keep their application form and registration number safe for future reference.
  • Candidates should carry a valid photo ID proof and a copy of their application form to the examination center.
  • Candidates should not carry any prohibited items to the examination center.

SBI Clerk Salary and Allowances

The starting basic pay for SBI Clerk is Rs 19900/- (Rs 17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). In addition to the basic pay, SBI Clerk also receives various allowances such as house rent allowance, travel allowance, dearness allowance, etc.

Career Growth

SBI Clerk has a good career growth prospect. After joining as a Clerk, one can be promoted to the post of Officer, Senior Manager, Assistant Manager, Manager, Chief Manager, Deputy General Manager, General Manager, and Executive Director.
