A six year old child was killed during an accident where a police van collided with a car. Gurugram Assistant Commissioner of Police Vikas Kaushik said that the actions will be taken against the police staff who are involved in the accident.

A shocking news of an accident in Gurugram has surfaced the internet. A police van hit a car during which a six year old child died and five other people sustained injuries. The police officials stated that the police van was the emergency response vehicle (ERV) of the Gurugram Police which collided with the car on the Gurugram -Faridabad road.
It resulted in the death of one six year old child, the five people who sustained injuries included two children , and two women and the car driver also sustained the injuries.
Counter Actions To Be Taken.
The Gurugram Assistant Commissioner Vikas Kaushik stated that there will be departmental proceedings against the driver, special police officer and the head constable in connection with the accident.
The accident occurred on the Grugram -Faridabad road . The driver after the accident fled from the site .A case has been filed against the van driver of the police . A speeding emergency response vehicle ( ERV) was travelling on the wrong side of the road. The van collided with a swift car . When the accident occurred , the child was in the mothers lap and died on the spot, while the injured ones were rushed t the hospital .The police officials that arrived on the accident spot had taken the child’s body into the custody . The sources have stated that a Constable Rameshwar was the one driving that police van but the investigation is further in the process.
Vikas Kaushik narrated the incident to the media ,” The accident happened on the Gurugram – Faridabad road. ERV vehicle of the police was coming from the wrong side . The Case has been registered against the ERV driver. Departmental action is also being taken against the policemen involved in it .”
The police retrieved the body from the accident site and had sent it for postmortem . The case has been registered under section 279, 337, 427, 304A of IPC( Indian Penal Code). The police authorities are further investigating the case.
