According to Warring’s account, passengers were initially made to wait in a queue under scorching heat for 10-15 minutes before entering the aircraft. Upon entering, they were met with an unexpected and unpleasant surprise: the air conditioning was not functioning. The aircraft then took off, subjecting travelers to discomfort throughout the journey.
Passengers Troubled
Passengers, including women and children, resorted to fanning themselves with newspapers in an attempt to keep cool as the flight progressed. Warring shared a video that clearly depicted the restless and agitated atmosphere inside the plane. The Congress leader expressed frustration at the lack of attention given to the passengers’ serious concerns during the flight. He further criticized the airline’s approach, stating that authorities seemed more focused on financial considerations rather than ensuring passengers’ well-being.
Warring also called out the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and Airports Authority of India (AAI), urging them to take strict action against the airline in response to the unfortunate incident.
In response, IndiGo Airline issued an apology, expressing deep regret for the inconvenience experienced by passengers on flight 6E7261. The airline acknowledged the discomfort and inconvenience faced by its customers and assured that steps would be taken to address the issue.
IndiGo stated that after landing in Jaipur, the aircraft was subjected to a thorough inspection of its air conditioning system. Following the necessary inspections and corrective measures, the plane was cleared for subsequent flights.

This incident comes on the heels of another emergency landing involving an IndiGo flight bound for Delhi. The aircraft was forced to make an emergency landing in Patna due to engine malfunctions. Fortunately, the flight landed safely at Jay Prakash Narayan Airport.
