At present, India has three consulates in Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth, while Brisbane is home to an Honorary Consulate of India. However, Modi emphasized that the true depth of the relationship surpasses these categorizations.
Prime Minister Albanese also addressed the gathering, praising the Indian community for their contributions in making Australia stronger. He expressed his desire for the relationship between India and Australia to continue growing, particularly in the realms of business and education.
