Duolingo English Test (DET) released a brand film titled “A Bridge to Opportunity: Study Abroad with the Duolingo English Test,” which features the stories of 16 real students and highlights how DET is helping students fulfill their study abroad dreams. The film was produced by Animal Studios, a Pittsburgh-based agency, and was shot in four countries, showcasing the lives of these students as they experience university life. The students featured in the video come from various countries, including India, Japan, UK, China, Syria, Germany, Indonesia, Colombia, and Singapore.
Caroline Moylan, the marketing manager of brand experience at Duolingo English Test, expressed gratitude to the students for their participation, emphasizing that testing should be a bridge, not a barrier. Danny Yourd, director at Animal Studio, mentioned the enjoyable challenge of shooting films across countries and borders and expressed happiness in producing a piece that resonates with them.
