On 10 January 2023, ICAI announced the results of CA final and CA Intermediate that were conducted on November 2022. The results f the CA Exams were announced on icai.nic.in and icai.org.
According to the official notification released by ICAI , it stated ” The results of the Chartered Accountants Final and Intermediate examinations held on November 2022 are likely to be declared on 10 January 2023. The same can be assessed by accessing the website icai.nic.in. The candidates shall have to enter their roll number along with their registration number.
Details of the CA exam dates.
The CA Final Exams were held for group 1 between November 1 and 7, 2022 while for group 2 the exams were held on 10 November to 16 , 2022.
The intermediate exams for group 1 were held from 2 November to 9, 2022 , whereas Group 2 exams were held between November 11 and 17, 2022.
This time, girls have made it big in the CA exams with three positions out of the top four being girls.
Harsh Choudhry tops by being AIR 1 with two other girls named Ramyashree and Shikha Jain as AIR 2. Both of the girls had one thing in common. It was that both of them did not take any kind of formal coaching and were guided by a family member.
This year, 65,291 candidates appeared for the group 1 exams in CA Final and 64,775 for group 2 . But , only 13969 candidates got to clear the Group 1 exam which makes 21.39% and 12,053 for Group 2 which makes up about 18.61%- the Pass Percentage.
Passing Percentage.
Talking about the passing percentage required for candidates to pass the exams , candidates need to score 40 percent marks in each subject . They also need to have an aggregate of 50 percent in both or one group.
More than 503 exam centres conducted the exam for CA Final , and the CA Intermediate Exams were conducted in 552 centres.
Similarly to the Final Exams, in the CA Intermediate Exams too girls dominated the results. The CCM ( Central council member) of ICAI, Dhiraj Khandelwal have congratulated all the students who cleared the examinations of November 2022.
