The Indian Government has been trying for a long time to take the Education System of India to new heights .Amid these all efforts, some of the schools of India have been coming in the partnership with foreign schools and implementing the STEM system. Some of the Universities too have already set up partnerships with Indian Institutions, which would allow students to study in abroad. The students can partially study in India and complete their degrees in abroad on the main campus . This will encourage the overseas institutions to set up the campuses without local partners.
India has now taken a step by allowing the leading foreign universities such as Yale , Stanford and Oxford to set up their campuses and award degrees as an overhaul of the south Asian nations Higher Education.
Issues by UGC
The UGC (university grants commission ) regulator issued a draft legislation for public feedback that seeks to facilitate entry and operation of overseas institutions in the country for the first time . The local campus in the country can decide the criteria for domestic and foreign students , fee structure and scholarship . An autonomy will be given to the institutions to recruit faculty and staff.
In this manner, the Indian students will be given a benefit to study from the campuses of the prestigious colleges. This integration will also lead to the improvement in the quality and status of the India’s education system.
The Indian students can obtain qualifications at an affordable cost and make India a better place for the students to study . Though many Indian Universities and colleges are successful in producing successful people at various top positions such as CEO , CFO and at various top level management positions. But still these universities are very less in number. Many more colleges and universities in India are still not developed in terms of education quality and skills.
