Appointment letters were distributed to the newly selected 71 thousand youth from across the country in various states at the Prime Minister’s Employment Fair. Inaugurating the third fair virtually, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that whatever resolution our government takes, it proves it. The recruitment process is now more systematic and time bound than earlier. The transparency and speed that we are seeing in the recruitment process today is visible in every work of the government. There was a time when even regular promotions faced various hurdles.

The year started with new hopes for a bright future

Prime Minister Modi said in the program organized on Friday that this is the first job fair of the year 2023. This year has started with new hopes for a bright future. It has brought a new gift of happiness for those 71 thousand families whose members have got the opportunity to do government service. Lakhs of families are going to get appointment in government jobs in the coming days. He again explained to the youth the benefits of double engine government in gestures. Said that along with the central government, job fairs are being organized continuously in NDA and BJP ruled states.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi

Employment fair is going to be organized in many states

It may be known that last day the Government of Assam organized an employment fair. Events are to be held in states like Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Uttarakhand in the coming times. Employment fairs have now become the identity of our government. This shows that whatever resolution our government takes, it proves it. At the beginning of the job fair, PM asked the youth about their experiences regarding recruitment. Some candidates expressed satisfaction that the formalities of the recruitment process were completed quickly. And like Srinagar’s Faisal Shaukat Shah and Manipur’s Vahani Chong, many of the newly selected had a common reason for happiness that they are the first members of their families to get a government job.

Merit respected through transparent and clear recruitment process

He told the PM that now his friends are also getting motivated for government jobs by organizing employment fairs. The candidates also found the online training module iGOT very useful. On this, Modi said that apart from getting government service, these youths are also satisfied that due to the transparent and clear recruitment process, their merit has been respected. Everyone must have felt that there has been a massive change in the recruitment process.

Citizen is always right is the mantra of governance

The Prime Minister also made the youth feel responsible. He said that in the business world you must have heard ‘consumer is always right’. Similarly, our mantra in governance should be ‘Citizen is always right’. This spirit gives more strength to the service instinct within us. He explained to the youth that it should not be forgotten that when you are appointed in the government, it is called government service, whereas when you go to private, it is called job. The PM inspired and said that I never let the student inside me die. No matter where you reach, keep learning something or the other continuously. This will increase your capacity, the capacity of the organization you are associated with will increase and the efforts of all these will increase the capacity of India. You move forward, but our country should also move forward.
