7 Persons Injured From Twin Blast in Jammu

Seven persons got injured in two blasts in Jammu on Thursday . The blasts took place in the Narwal Area of Jammu .

Two high intensity blasts took place within the thirty minutes if the area . At least seven people were injured in these bomb blasts. There were five people that got injured in the first blast . It occurred around 11 am in the morning . The second explosion resulted in the injury if two people which occurred after two hours the first hour . The Additional Director General of Police ( Jammu ) Mukesh Singh told this regarding the incident in Jammu.

Another police official stated that the whole area has been cordoned off and the injured evacuated to hospital.

Security Tightened Due To The Blasts.

Security has been improved after all the blasts and vehicles are being checked .The terror led to the increasing in the security concerns leader Rahul Gandhi ‘s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir. Currently Rahul Gandhi’s yatra is currently on a break at Chadwal which is around 60 km from Jammu . Forensic experts are investigating the blast site . The police authorities stated that the nature of blasts is yet to be ascertained .

It was confirmed by Mukesh Singh the (ADG) that six people were injured in the blast. The injured people are currently treated at the hospital and the condition of one of them is stated to be critical. Since this blast, the securities are tightened as well as the vehicles are also being checked as a part of the police search operation.

The rupees 50,000 financial assistance is to be given to the injured, stated by Manoj Sinha, the Lieutenant Governor . He stated,” Such dastardly acts highlight the desperation and cowardice of the people responsible. Take immediate and firm action. No efforts should be spared to bring the perpetrators to justice “.The blast took place in the transport yards of the Narwal were triggered by the terrorists at the time when security agencies in the region are on high alert during the ongoing Bharat Jodo Yatra.
