Prime Minister Narendra Modi became visibly emotional as he interacted with the team of dedicated scientists who played a pivotal role in the triumphant Chandrayaan-3 mission. The event took place at the command centre of the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) in Bengaluru.
During the poignant interaction, PM Modi expressed his pride in India’s remarkable achievement, declaring, “India is on the Moon. The Chandrayaan-3 lander, christened ‘Vikram’, accomplished a remarkable feat by successfully landing on the unexplored lunar South Pole after a 40-day voyage through space. Notably, at the time of the Vikram lander’s touchdown on the Moon, Prime Minister Modi was attending the BRICS Summit in South Africa. However, he virtually joined the ISRO scientists during the event and subsequently traveled to Greece for bilateral discussions.
