According to the Industry and students experts , studying in abroad has become quite expensive for the students who have just moved to the country .

The Indian students are facing challenges for finding accommodation despite the fact that Indian students have been issued the largest number of UK students visa this year. The accommodation facilities near the college and universities have become a big challenge for the students.

The challenges are not only just to find accommodation but also to survive in the continuous rise in prices and inflation which has increased their daily expenses.

The Uinited Nation’s inflation has recorded a jump in its inflation records to a high level . The consumer price index, including Owner Occupiers Housing Cost, has recorded a rise by 8.8 percent in the 12 months upto September 2022. According to the November statistics by the Office for National Statistics, the inflation rate sky rocketed at 9.3 per cent .

According to British High Commission Statistics, India has now overtaken china and has become the country with largest nationality to have been issued and sponsored the study visas in United Kingdoms . Indian students received the largest number of UK student visas at 1.27 lakh for the year ending in September 2022.

With a constant increase in prices , expectations and pressure increase too “as a student in a new country, I would rather focus on my studies than to worry about how much allowance I am left with.” said a student.

The US,UK ,Canada and Australia remain top destinations for students going abroad for higher destinations . There has been a shift to UK due to rejection of applications to Canada. Moreover, the destinations like Italy , Germany, Turkey , Malaysia, UAE are quickly becoming hot destinations , however a total shift to these countries is completely unlikely.”
