Recently, KSRTC(Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation) challenged advertisements put up on the buses. A proposal should have been coming up with some resolutions.
Advertisements should be allowed on the buses but at the same time, a thought about the passengers should also be given.
(1)It should avoid endangering the lives of passengers by blocking windows or windshields.
(2)Advertisements can also become a distractor for other drivers.
(3)The Sabarimala reason is coming up and it required buses without any commercial ads on buses. It was very hard to find as expectations were very low.
Currently, the buses visiting pilgrims, and state-owned transportation has the responsibility of providing bus services to the public which is being hampered.
The division bench comprising Justice Anil K Narendran and Justice P G Ajithkumar in a previous case had ordered transport vehicles owned by KSRTC and KURTC are likely to distract the attention of the drivers.
