President Droupadi Murmu is set to embark on a significant three-day visit to the state of Jharkhand, marking her second visit since assuming office. The visit holds great importance as it includes a series of engagements and inaugurals, showcasing the President’s commitment to the development and welfare of the state.

The highlight of President Murmu’s visit will be the inauguration of the new complex of the Jharkhand High Court in Ranchi. This modern and state-of-the-art facility is expected to provide improved infrastructure and efficiency to the judicial system in the state. The inauguration ceremony will be attended by dignitaries and officials from various sectors, underscoring the significance of the occasion.

Additionally, the President will attend the second convocation of the Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) in Ranchi. The convocation ceremony will witness the graduation of a new batch of talented students who have excelled in the field of information technology. President Murmu’s presence will undoubtedly inspire and encourage the graduates as they embark on their professional journeys.

Further showcasing her commitment to women’s empowerment and tribal welfare, the President will grace a Women Conference organized by the Union Ministry of Tribal Affairs in Khunti. This conference will provide a platform for women associated with Self Help Groups (SHGs) to exchange ideas, share experiences, and discuss strategies to uplift their communities. President Murmu’s presence will serve as a symbol of support and encouragement for these women, highlighting the government’s dedication to their progress.

President Murmu’s itinerary also includes a visit to the revered Baba Baidyanath Dham temple in Deoghar, one of the 12 ‘jyotirlingas’ in Hindu mythology. This pilgrimage holds immense significance for devotees, and the President’s presence will enhance the sanctity of the occasion. However, to ensure the smooth conduct of her visit, the entry of devotees will be restricted for a specific period.

As preparations are underway for the President’s arrival, the state capital has been adorned with hoardings and banners, displaying warm greetings and extending a warm welcome to President Murmu. The state administration and security agencies have also taken proactive measures to enhance security arrangements in Deoghar, Ranchi, and Khunti, ensuring the safety of the President and all attendees during the visit.

President Droupadi Murmu, who previously served as the Governor of Jharkhand from 2015 to 2021, continues to foster her connection with the state, demonstrating her commitment to its progress and prosperity. Her visit is expected to bolster the morale of the people of Jharkhand and further strengthen the bonds between the state and the central government.
