The Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express is set to revolutionize travel between the two cities, covering a distance of 314 kilometers in just four hours and 45 minutes. Presently, the fastest train plying this route is the New Delhi-Dehradun Shatabdi Express, which takes six hours and 10 minutes for the same journey.
The Vande Bharat Express will operate six days a week, excluding Wednesdays, providing passengers with a more convenient and efficient travel option. The train’s schedule has been designed to suit the needs of commuters and enhance connectivity between the two cities.
During its journey between Delhi and Dehradun, the Vande Bharat Express will make stops at five prominent railway stations: Haridwar, Roorkee, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar, and Meerut City. The composition of the Delhi-Dehradun Vande Bharat Express consists of eight coaches, including AC Chair Car and Executive Chair Car accommodations. This modern train offers comfortable and luxurious seating arrangements for passengers, ensuring a delightful travel experience.
