Prime Minister Narendra Modi has reiterated his government’s commitment to non-discrimination based on religion or caste while implementing various welfare schemes. Speaking at a programme in Mahatma Mandir, Modi said that the government’s approach of directly reaching out to beneficiaries has helped end corruption on a large scale. He added that the government does not consider the religion or caste of the beneficiaries and is striving for 100% saturation of its schemes.

Modi highlighted the success of the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) in empowering women, with 70% of the 4 crore houses built under this scheme given to women. He further noted that the scheme has helped alleviate the plight and disappointment faced by the poor, as his government is working to remove the things they lack in life.

The Prime Minister emphasized that true secularism is where there is no discrimination based on caste, creed, or religion. He stated that there is no greater social justice than working for the happiness and convenience of all, and for 100% of their rights. This, according to him, is the path that his government is walking on.

The government’s non-discriminatory approach towards the implementation of welfare schemes is a step towards achieving true social justice. It is heartening to see that the government is taking steps to empower women through the PMAY scheme. By directly reaching out to beneficiaries, the government is ensuring that the benefits of its schemes reach those who need them the most. This approach is helping to end corruption on a large scale, and it is important to continue such efforts to ensure that welfare schemes are implemented effectively and equitably.

Overall, Modi’s speech highlights the government’s focus on inclusive growth and development. By emphasizing the importance of non-discrimination and social justice, he has sent a clear message that the government is committed to improving the lives of all citizens, regardless of their background. Such efforts are crucial to ensuring that India continues on the path of progress and prosperity.
