Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently concluded his three-nation visit to Japan, Papua New Guinea, and Australia, and upon his return to Delhi, he addressed a gathering of supporters. During his speech, PM Modi emphasized that the world is eager to understand India’s thoughts and perspectives. He highlighted India’s humanitarian approach by mentioning the country’s efforts in providing vaccines to the world, stating that it stems from the principles of non-violence and compassion espoused by figures like Buddha and Gandhi.

PM Modi commended the vibrant democracy prevalent in India while addressing the Indian diaspora event in Sydney. He acknowledged the presence of Australian Prime Minister, ruling party leaders, former prime minister, and opposition members, underscoring the inclusive nature of the event. Although several opposition parties had recently boycotted the inauguration of the new Parliament building, criticizing the government’s treatment of President Droupadi Murmu, PM Modi refrained from directly addressing this matter in his speech.

The Prime Minister expressed his confidence in representing India’s culture and values to the world, asserting that the people of India, rather than just his own admirers, contribute to the formation of a government with a resounding majority. He reiterated the significance of Tamil language, considering it the language of every Indian and the oldest language globally. PM Modi also mentioned his opportunity to release the Tok Pisin translation of the revered Tamil book ‘Thirukkural’ in Papua New Guinea, highlighting the cultural connections between the two nations.

Upon his arrival at Delhi’s Palam airport, PM Modi was welcomed by BJP National President JP Nadda and other party members. Nadda praised the Prime Minister, lauding his governance model and mentioning instances where world leaders, such as US President Joe Biden, have shown admiration for his leadership. Nadda also drew attention to the reverence shown to PM Modi by the Prime Minister of Papua New Guinea, indicating the high regard India’s Prime Minister commands internationally.

Overall, PM Modi’s visit to Japan, Papua New Guinea, and Australia showcased India’s global engagement and humanitarian approach, while his remarks upon returning highlighted the world’s curiosity about India’s perspectives and his administration’s accomplishments.
