Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has firmly denied any rumors of a rift between him and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis, emphasizing that their bond is as strong as Fevicol, a popular adhesive brand. Addressing speculations about differences within the ruling alliance, Shinde stated that there is no possibility of a rift as the Sena-BJP government was founded on a shared ideology rather than for personal power or political gains. The two leaders appeared together in public for the first time since a controversy erupted over an advertisement favoring Shinde over Fadnavis.

During a government event in Palghar, they exhibited camaraderie and reiterated their longstanding friendship. Shinde commended Fadnavis for his previous tenure as the Chief Minister and praised his deputy’s experience, highlighting their combined efforts in steering the state towards development. The Chief Minister further emphasized that their alliance is based on upholding the ideals of late Sena founder Bal Thackeray and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Shinde also criticized the previous MVA government, alleging that it failed to deliver on farm loan waivers and development projects. Fadnavis echoed Shinde’s sentiments, stating that the present government is resilient and not easily affected by mere advertisements or remarks. He stressed the enduring bond between the Shiv Sena and BJP, which has grown stronger over the past year, contrasting it with the internal conflicts of the previous administration.

This reaffirmation of unity and camaraderie between Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis dispels rumors of a rift within the Sena-BJP alliance. Both leaders emphasize their long-standing friendship and commitment to a shared ideology, underscoring that their government is founded on principles rather than personal power. The public appearance together highlights their unity and determination to work towards the development of Maharashtra.
