In a tragic incident, a 27-year-old Indian woman was fatally stabbed in north London, leading to the arrest of two suspects. The incident occurred at a residential property on Neeld Crescent in Wembley.

While the police in the UK have not formally identified the murder victim, reports from India suggest that the woman is Kontham Tejasvini, a young professional from Hyderabad. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to be conducted, after which the police are expected to release her identity officially.

The Metropolitan Police had previously released an image of a Brazilian national, Keven Antonio Lourenco De Morais, to seek assistance from the public in tracing the suspect involved in the attack. The 23-year-old suspect has now been apprehended near the crime scene in Harrow.

According to the police statement, officers and the London Ambulance Service responded to the scene, where two women had sustained stab injuries.

Despite the efforts of the emergency services, the 27-year-old woman tragically succumbed to her injuries at the scene. The next of kin are yet to be notified. Another woman, aged 28, was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening stab injuries.

At the crime scene, two additional individuals, a 24-year-old man and a 23-year-old woman, were arrested on suspicion of murder. While the man remains in custody, the woman has been released without further action.

Detective Chief Inspector Linda Bradley from the Met’s Specialist Crime Command expressed gratitude to the public for their assistance in locating the suspect. She reassured the community that a dedicated team of detectives is actively working to establish the details of the incident. Local officers will continue to be present in the area to address any concerns.

The tragic stabbing has caused significant concern, and the ongoing investigation aims to bring justice to the victim and her family while ensuring the safety of the community.
