Gaddar’s health had been deteriorating for some time, leading to his hospitalisation on July 20. Despite undergoing a bypass surgery on August 3, his condition continued to worsen due to his age and pre-existing lung and urinary problems, which eventually led to his passing.

Revanth Reddy, a Congress leader, called on party members to honour Gaddar’s memory by displaying his portraits on main roads across all mandal centres.
