Novak Djokovic has regained the coveted No. 1 spot in the ATP rankings after securing his 23rd Grand Slam title at the French Open. His victory allowed him to surpass Carlos Alcaraz and further extend his record for the most weeks atop the rankings since the introduction of the computerized system. Alcaraz now sits at No. 2, while Daniil Medvedev slipped to No. 3 following an early exit from the Paris tournament. Meanwhile, Iga Swiatek continues to dominate the WTA rankings, maintaining her position at the top for over a year. Although there was a chance for Aryna Sabalenka to overtake her, Swiatek’s triumph at Roland-Garros secured her No. 1 ranking. Notably, Karolina Muchova made a significant jump from 43rd to a career-high 16th in the rankings. As Djokovic celebrates his triumph and Swiatek basks in her continued reign, the tennis world eagerly awaits future tournaments to witness how these talented players defend their positions on the rankings leaderboard.
