In a horrifying incident that has shocked the nation, Sahil, the accused in the Delhi stabbing case, has confessed to the police that he murdered 16-year-old Sakshi in the Shahbad area of Delhi. The police sources have revealed that Sahil admitted to the crime after being shown CCTV footage of the incident.
The vicious attack took place when Sakshi and Sahil, who had been following each other on Instagram for the past two years, crossed paths in Shahbad. Sakshi was brutally stabbed 21 times, with the murder weapon, a knife, becoming lodged in her head at one point. The assailant then proceeded to bludgeon her with a nearby boulder, striking her five more times. Shockingly, passersby failed to intervene or stop the attack.
Following his arrest in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, on May 29, Sahil was taken into custody by the Delhi Police. During interrogation, the accused showed no signs of remorse or regret for the heinous crime he committed.
Expressing her grief and seeking justice for her daughter, Sakshi’s mother demanded the death sentence for Sahil, emphasizing that the culprit should be hanged. She expressed her confusion and disbelief, stating that her daughter had never mentioned anything about Sahil. “I don’t know why he killed her. Now, only the CCTV footage and the authorities concerned can reveal how and why he killed my daughter,” she lamented.
Similarly, Sakshi’s father echoed the demand for stringent punishment, stating that the murderer should be hanged. He described the gruesome nature of the attack, explaining that his daughter had been stabbed multiple times, and her head had been bludgeoned into pieces.
