Sister’s Emotional Discovery and Accused’s Google Searches Uncover Disturbing Details
Mumbai, Maharashtra – In a shocking turn of events, a gruesome murder has shaken the city, as 56-year-old Manoj Sane stands accused of murdering and dismembering his live-in partner, Saraswati Vaidya, in their flat located in the Mira Road area. Disturbing details have emerged, including the emotional discovery made by one of Vaidya’s sisters and the accused’s online searches for disposing of a body.
The tragic incident came to light on June 4, when Sane allegedly purchased an electric wood cutter from a local hardware shop, subsequently using it to chop Vaidya’s body into multiple pieces. Unbeknownst to others, he had meticulously cleaned the tool, leaving no trace of his sinister actions. However, the chain of the woodcutter malfunctioned, prompting him to return to the same shop for repairs, inadvertently revealing a hint of his horrifying deed.
During their investigation, authorities stumbled upon Sane’s disturbing internet search history. It was discovered that he had conducted multiple searches on Google, seeking information on how to dispose of a body. Furthermore, Sane’s online activities included purchasing five bottles of Nilgiri oil from a local shop. It is believed that he acquired the oil to mask any foul odors emanating from the crime scene.
In a heart-wrenching development, one of Vaidya’s sisters came across a photograph of her beloved sister’s long hair, which Sane had callously cut and left on the kitchen platform. Overwhelmed with emotion, she recounted Vaidya’s love for her flowing locks, highlighting the personal significance of the cruel act committed by the accused.
Vaidya, who had four sisters, shared a close bond with her family. In their statements to the police, three of her sisters expressed deep anger towards Sane, urging law enforcement to build an airtight case that ensures he receives the harshest possible punishment for his heinous crime.
As the investigation progresses, the police are working meticulously to corroborate the information provided by the accused, who has been inconsistent in his statements. They have already begun cross-verifying several key details to establish a solid case against Sane.
Authorities are also keen on confirming the couple’s secret marriage, which Sane claimed occurred at a temple in Borivali. Investigators are actively searching for the temple’s location and the priest who officiated the ceremony. The couple had intentionally concealed their marital status from acquaintances due to their significant age difference.
To further strengthen the evidence, DNA samples from Vaidya and her immediate relatives will be sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) for analysis, in hopes of solidifying the case against Sane.
As Mumbai reels from this brutal act, the city’s residents are left shocked and mourning the loss of a vibrant life. The investigation continues, with the police committed to ensuring justice for Saraswati Vaidya and her grieving family.
