New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament (MP) Hans Raj Hans expressed deep sorrow and handed over a cheque of ₹1 Lakh to the family of a minor girl who was brutally murdered in Delhi’s Shahbad Dairy area. The incident, which was captured on CCTV and widely shared online, has sent shockwaves through the community and ignited public outrage.
The gruesome murder occurred within the jurisdiction of the Shahbad Dairy Police Station. The lifeless body of the victim, a resident of the JJ Colony in the area, was discovered on the street. The harrowing footage showed the assailant repeatedly stabbing the girl even after she had fallen to the ground. The attacker showed no mercy, inflicting over 20 stab wounds, kicking her, and using a cement slab to further assault her.

“Shame on any party that is doing politics after such a tragedy…There were so many people there; they should have caught him then and there. It pained me to see that video,” said Hans Raj Hans, referring to the crowd that witnessed the incident but failed to intervene effectively.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the victim had been attempting to end her relationship with Sahil, leading to a heated argument and subsequent tragedy.
