Additionally, the leaders will focus on supporting developing countries by scaling up infrastructure initiatives such as the Partnership for Global Infrastructure and Investment (PGII) and promoting the evolution of institutions like the World Bank to effectively tackle global challenges, including poverty reduction and climate change.
The President will have a separate meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Kishida to strengthen security, economic, and multilateral cooperation and enhance the alliance between the US and Japan.
