Ayushmann Khurrana and Family Receive Condolences from Bollywood Celebrities on Father’s Demise

Industry mourns the loss of renowned astrologer Acharya P Khurana

The Bollywood film fraternity came together in a show of support and solidarity as they offered heartfelt condolences to actor Ayushmann Khurrana and his family on the demise of his father, Acharya P Khurana. The news of his passing on Friday morning left the film industry and fans deeply saddened.

Renowned for his expertise in astrology, Acharya P Khurana was a highly respected figure in the field, particularly in North India. He authored more than 30 books on astrology and had gained a substantial following as a celebrity astrologer.

The family patriarch had been undergoing treatment for heart-related ailments at a hospital in Mohali, Punjab. Despite the best efforts of the medical team, he succumbed to his prolonged incurable illness. Ayushmann Khurrana, along with his brother Aparshakti Khurana, shared the heartbreaking news with their well-wishers through an official statement.

As news of the loss spread, condolences began pouring in from various members of the Hindi film industry. Prominent actors Ajay Devgn and Kajol took to Twitter to express their sympathies. Ajay Devgn tweeted, “My thoughts and prayers to @ayushmannk and family. Wishing strength and solace during this difficult time. 🕉️ Shanti.” Kajol shared, “Deepest condolences to @ayushmannk for his loss. 🙏 Parents are parents, and their loss is always felt on the deepest level.”

Suniel Shetty, known for his camaraderie with Ayushmann Khurrana, also extended his support. He wrote, “May God give you the strength to overcome this huge loss. Heartfelt condolences from all of us at home. @ayushmannk @Aparshakti.”

Actor Neil Nitin Mukesh expressed his sorrow, saying, “My deepest condolences to you my dear brothers @ayushmannk @Aparshakti and the entire family. Extremely upset on hearing the sad news. May God give you all the strength 🙏🙏 OM SHANTI.”

Sonia Aggarwal, an actress hailing from the Khurana family’s hometown of Chandigarh, shared her grief, “Rest in peace, my dearest uncle @PKhurrana_…deeply saddened and shocked…my heartfelt condolences @ayushmannk @Aparshakti and aunty…stay strong #OmShanti.”

Ayushmann Khurrana, known for his remarkable performances in films like “Vicky Donor,” and his brother Aparshakti Khurana, who gained recognition through the movie “Dangal,” are beloved members of the Indian film industry. They have charmed audiences with their talent and contributed significantly to the evolving landscape of Hindi cinema.

The Khurana family’s official statement reiterated their gratitude for the support they have received during this difficult time. It read, “It’s with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ayushmann and Aparshakti Khurana’s father, Astrologer P Khurana, this morning at 10:30 am in Mohali. He was suffering from a prolonged incurable ailment. We are indebted for all your prayers and support during this time of personal loss.”

As the Khurana family mourns the loss of their beloved patriarch, the film industry and fans from across the nation join together in extending their condolences and offering support to Ayushmann Khurrana, Aparshakti Khurrana on their loss.
