The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has announced the much-awaited Assam Higher Secondary (HS) Result 2023 today, June 6, at 9AM. Students who appeared in the Class 12 examinations can now check their results on the official websites – ahsec.assam.gov.in and resultsassam.nic.in. The results can be accessed by entering the roll number provided during the exams.
The Class 12 board exams in Assam were conducted from February 20 to March 20, and students are advised that the results published online are provisional in nature. They are required to collect their original mark sheets from their respective schools. AHSEC has also made provisions for students to check their results through SMS.
Last year’s statistics indicate that the pass percentage for science students was 92.19%, while commerce and arts streams recorded pass percentages of 87.27% and 83.48% respectively.

3. Enter the roll number in the designated space.

Congratulatory messages have poured in for the successful candidates from various dignitaries, including Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. In a tweet, he conveyed his congratulations and best wishes to all the students who passed the HS examination. He also encouraged those who did not perform well this time, reminding them that they always have the power to work harder and achieve success.
Among the noteworthy achievements in this year’s results, Ramanujan Senior Secondary School in Nagaon stood out, with students from the school securing top positions in all streams. Baksa district recorded the highest pass percentage in the science stream, with an impressive 95.69%. However, Dima Hasao reported a lower pass percentage of 58.38% in the same stream.
Assam Education Minister Ranoj Pegu extended his congratulations to the students and expressed gratitude to AHSEC for promptly declaring the results. Pegu shared abstracts of the Assam 12th result 2023 through a series of tweets, acknowledging the hard work and dedication of the students.
Additionally, a betterment exam was conducted for Class 12 students in the science stream. A total of 1,002 students, including 751 boys and 251 girls, appeared for the exam. Out of these, 543 students passed, resulting in an overall pass percentage of 54.19%.
In the commerce stream, Sukanya Kumar and Barsha Bratha secured the first rank in the Assam 12th result 2023. Furthermore, eight students attained the 8th rank in this stream.
