In a recent interview, Ashish Vidyarthi spoke about his meeting with Rupali Barua and the difficulties his second marriage decision has posed for the family.
Piloo, also known as Rajoshi Barua, previously shared with Hindustan Times about the reactions to Ashish’s second marriage, highlighting the societal stereotypes surrounding separations and the need for drama or blame.
Ashish Vidyarthi revealed in an interview with The Telegraph-t2 that he met Rupali during one of his vlogging assignments after completing the process with Piloo last year. They started chatting and discovered that Rupali had also experienced her share of pain, having lost her husband five years ago. Despite initially not considering remarriage, their conversations led them to explore the possibility of starting anew. Ashish expressed his joy in being with someone who, like him, had faced personal challenges and was open to looking at life differently. Age was not a deterrent for them, with Ashish at 57 and Rupali at 50, as they believe happiness knows no boundaries.
Ashish acknowledged the pain his decision has caused for the family, emphasizing his friendship with Piloo and their shared memories of a wonderful marriage. He explained that parting ways is never easy and that both he, Piloo, and their son Mowgli have experienced pain. However, Ashish believes in making a choice: to confront and deal with the pain or let it linger and hinder life’s progress.
While his decision has not been without difficulty, Ashish remains determined to move forward and fulfill his responsibilities while cherishing the memories of his past relationship.
