UP to make Kerala story tax free

Lucknow: In a move that is sure to delight movie buffs and filmmakers alike, the Uttar Pradesh government has decided to declare the hit film “Kerala Story” as tax-free in the state. This comes just a few weeks after the Madhya Pradesh government made a similar announcement for the film.

The decision was taken after a meeting between the Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and the state’s Culture Minister Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary. The CM hailed the film for its portrayal of human emotions and its message of social harmony.

The film has been a critical and commercial success, winning accolades from audiences and critics alike. It has been praised for its strong performances, beautiful cinematography, and touching storyline.

The decision by the Uttar Pradesh government to declare Kerala Story as tax-free is expected to boost the film’s box office collections in the state. It is also a positive development for Bollywood film industry, which has been gaining popularity across the world in recent years.

This decisions comes soon after the ban imposed on the movie in Bengal . this can also be seen as a clear political move.

NO TAX BENEFITS

With the tax-free status, movie-goers in Uttar Pradesh can now watch Kerala Story without paying any entertainment tax. This move is likely to encourage more people to watch the film, which has already won the hearts of audiences in Kerala and beyond.
