74th Republic Day was celebrated on Thursday at Rajpath renovated Kartavya Path, Delhi. Some of the main prime focus of the military parade this time were women’s role and their empowerment as well as ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat or self-sufficient drive.
Without pandemic restrictions, Republic day was celebrated with the chief guest Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi. The celebration was conducted after two years in the presence of president Droupadi Murmur.

Some of the missile systems were showcased by the army including:-

  1. Main battle tank
  2. Arjun
  3. the NAG missile system
    4.the K-9 vajra t gun system
  4. the Akash air defense system
  5. the Brahmos missile
    21 gun salute was also prosecuted while flag hosting for the first time by 105 mm field guns which were made in India.
    This was made as the changes were brought up by the union government. This decision was made for defense equipment as the indigenous manufacturer.
    Parade Commander lieutenant general Dhiraj Seth led the parade along with the general officer commanding.
    Indian air force and the Indian army has led by women this time. Nari shakti theme was displayed along with the armed force contingents showcasing cultural tableaux.
    Lieutenant commander Disha Amrit led 144 sailors of the navy.
    One of the famous parts of the parade every year was the fly-past.
    Many of the audience were not able to see it because of the cold weather in Delhi as it was blurry. There was the Netra formation by Rafale fighter jets. There was Trishul formation by three Sukhoi -30 Mkio. A diamond shape formation also took place.
    35 women constables were shown by Delhi police and also the central reserve police office force led by Shweta Sugathan the assistant commissioner of police.
    The states of Kerela and Tripura showed women empowerment through traditions and the key role of women in organic farming, and tourism earning a livelihood respectively.
