Capital city Patna, witnessed an unprecedented collection in Bihar Couture Runway, 2022 organized by SR Adventure, Abhishek Kumar and Captain Aryan Sinha in particular. A Delhi based couturier, native from city of joy – Kolkata, Prashant Majumdar who has marked his presence at many shows of Times Fashion Week muse being young celebrities faces like Rohit Khandelwal, Divya Aggarwal, Zuber Khan, Ayush Anand, Anukreethy Vas, Subha Raksha, Manmohan Tiwari. The designer presented a range of women’s and men’s occassional wear. In women’s wear, the ensembles were in series of 3 piece of pleated lehenga with heavily embroidery blouses and dupatta in dark hues of bottle green and violet, textured-sculpted gowns inspired from western design and floral – foliage work on saris in bright hues against a ivory base.

For the men, the designer blurred the line between genders for a fashion forward future by bringing the men in Sherwani with Ghagra (an Indian wear skirt) and Dupatta along with staple Sherwani Sets. The collection featured mix of strong colours with subtle embellishments and textile crafts which was a fantastic experience for the viewers. Designer, Prashant Majumdar who brought the international style of men’s wear on the ramp of Bihar Couture Runway has set the buzz high for embracing gender fluid fashion.
