What Is the AI Learning Programme All About?

NCERT’s online programme runs for four consecutive days . It is broadcast through NCERT’s official YouTube channel and PM eVidya channels, enabling students, teachers, and even parents to participate virtually from anywhere.

Each day covers a unique theme focused on understanding mathematical learning challenges and using AI to improve comprehension. According to NCERT, the sessions are designed to help learners:

  • Use digital tools to identify problem areas in math comprehension
  • Apply AI for diagnostic learning and personalized support
  • Make math interactive rather than rote bridging the gap between theory and real‑life application.

Why AI Matters in Mathematics Education

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly reshaping global education. In math, AI systems can spot patterns of student errors, suggest targeted practice, and even adapt content‑delivery methods. .

Who Benefits from This Programme?

This initiative is open to students, teachers, educators, and parents. Teachers, especially, get a chance to learn practical ways to integrate technology into their maths lessons, a skill that will be invaluable in future classrooms driven by digital literacy.

As India advances into an era where technology is deeply intertwined with learning, NCERT’s four‑day AI programme marks an important milestone in education reform. By blending classroom teaching with AI capabilities, the initiative not only boosts math skills but also introduces learners to the future of digital education building curiosity, capability, and confidence in learners nationwide.
