A graduate in Hospitality Management from IHRM Kolkata and an MBA in Micro Business Studies, he spent his early career understanding customer experience at Shoppers Stop before taking the leap into the entertainment sector with Timezone India in 2006.

Over eight years at Timezone, he rose through the operations team, mastering the mechanics of running large-scale entertainment venues. That experience laid the foundation for High Volt Bowling and Gaming, which he co-founded in 2014 with a simple goal:

“To make entertainment accessible, inclusive, and community-driven for Indian families.”

Building a Brand That Redefines Play
High Volt’s success lies in its hospitality-first approach — merging fun with safety, operational precision, and customer satisfaction. Each center is designed as a family-friendly social hub that encourages people to step away from screens and connect through shared experiences.

From arcade zones and bowling alleys to group events and tournaments, the brand caters to all age groups. Its growing popularity is a reflection of India’s shifting leisure habits, as families seek more experiential and social activities over passive entertainment.

Expanding Across India
In just over a decade, High Volt has expanded to nine states, with plans to enter the North East region — a market Bose believes holds immense potential due to its vibrant youth culture and communal recreation habits.

“The North East has an amazing sense of togetherness,” Bose notes. “Our model fits perfectly with their culture of music, festivals, and group leisure.”

The brand’s strategic expansion also includes exploring partnerships with malls, hospitality groups, and retail developers, aiming to establish High Volt as a national entertainment ecosystem rather than just a chain of centers.
