Telangana Celebrates 10th Formation Day with Wishes from Across India

Telangana celebrated its 10th Formation Day on June 2, 2023, marking the culmination of its journey to become a separate state from Andhra Pradesh in 2014. K. Chandrasekhar Rao took oath as the first Chief Minister of the new state on this historic day.

Wishes poured in from across India for Telangana on its special occasion. Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his greetings to the people, expressing admiration for their skills and the richness of their culture. He prayed for the well-being and prosperity of Telangana.

President of India, Droupadi Murmu, hailed Telangana as a beautiful state emerging as a hub of innovation and entrepreneurship. She highlighted its endowed forests, wildlife, and rich cultural heritage, sending her best wishes for its continued growth and prosperity.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge acknowledged that Telangana was born out of the aspirations and dreams of its people. He conveyed his best wishes and expressed pride in the efforts of the Congress party and Smt. Sonia Gandhi in fulfilling those aspirations.

Union Minister G. Kishan Reddy hoisted the National Flag at Golconda Fort in Hyderabad to commemorate Telangana Formation Day. He paid tribute to the martyrs and saluted all those who participated in the struggle, while praying for the continued progress and prosperity of Telangana.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar conveyed warm greetings to the people of Telangana, acknowledging the state’s rich heritage, vibrant culture, and thriving industries. He recognized the contributions of Telangana’s people to the growth of the nation and wished the state a bright and prosperous future.

Telangana’s 10th Formation Day was marked by these heartfelt wishes, reflecting the unity and appreciation for the state’s achievements over the years.
