Indian Railways is making efforts to improve railway networks in India and facilitate intercity travel by introducing new Vande Bharat trains on various routes.
Madhya Pradesh is set to receive its second Vande Bharat train, connecting the cities of Indore and Jabalpur. Regular meetings are being held at both the zone and divisional levels to ensure smooth operations for the upcoming launch.
The inaugural run of the train is scheduled for June 20, signifying a significant milestone in the state’s railway infrastructure development.
The first Vande Bharat train in Madhya Pradesh was launched on April 1 this year, operating between Rani Kamlapati station in Bhopal and Hazarat Nizamuddin railway station in New Delhi.
Preparations for the Indore-Jabalpur Vande Bharat train are underway, including the designation of necessary stoppages along the route. The authorities are finalizing the preparations for the smooth functioning of the train.
The introduction of this new train will greatly improve intrastate connectivity in Madhya Pradesh and substantially reduce travel time between Indore and Jabalpur, benefiting commuters and promoting efficient transportation within the state.
