Kodaikanal, known as the “Queen of Mountains” in Tamil Nadu, is experiencing a gradual increase in tourist arrivals as the summer festival commences in the region.

As part of the festival, a captivating flower exhibition has been organized, drawing more tourists from various regions to Kodaikanal.

With rising temperatures in southern states, including Tamil Nadu, Kerala, and Karnataka, tourists are flocking to Kodaikanal to escape the summer heat and enjoy a refreshing vacation.

Prabhu, a tourist visiting Kodaikanal, expressed his joy, stating that his family came to the hill station to enjoy a summer vacation and seek respite from the high temperatures in Madurai.

Kodaikanal is not only attracting visitors from Tamil Nadu but also tourists from foreign countries, making it a popular destination during the summer vacation period.

Gokila, another tourist, mentioned that her children desired to visit Kodaikanal for their summer vacation, and the proximity to Madurai was an added advantage for their trip.

Situated in Tamil Nadu’s Dindigul district, Kodaikanal is renowned for its picturesque lakes, rolling hills, misty forests, breathtaking scenery, and pleasant climate.

With temperatures ranging from 20°C to 28°C during the day and 10°C at night, Kodaikanal offers an ideal destination for tourists throughout the year.
